Little else captures the imagination like Mount Everest. Even getting to base camp is a major thrill. Join this small group adventure for the ultimate Everest trek as you discover the region on your way to base camp.
Over the course of 24 days you’ll visit the Khumbu Valley, meet Sherpas, and cross the most magnificent passes in the Himalayas.
You’ll have a chance to explore Kathmandu, fly over Lukla, ascend to Namche Bazaar, sleep in traditional tea houses, visit the Thyangboche monastery, ascend Nangkartshang and Chukkung Ri, and spend time at Everest Base Camp.
This is a circular trek and you’ll be amazed at the views each and every day. These are among the tallest mountain peaks in the world and they do not disappoint. Most of the walk is done over 3600 metres, so this is not a trip for novices.
If you have previous trekking experience and an above average level of fitness, this is the adventure for you. The operator has graded this as ‘tough’ thanks to 18 full days of point to point walking. There is full porterage but you’ll be walking on all types of terrain, maintained trails, scree, rocks, ice and snow.
