There are many people in Tanzania who are seeking a chance to escape from the cycle of poverty. By joining this project you will help to give these people the skills and the financial assistance needed to start a business. This, in turn, will enable them to secure a more sustainable future for themselves and their families.
As a volunteer you’ll be based in the Projects Abroad micro-finance office in Arusha, working alongside a local team who are passionate about helping vulnerable groups. Day-to-day activities will include reading through business plans, managing loan accounts and providing general business guidance and support. You will develop workshops and training sessions on business management and build strategies for project sustainability.
If you have a background in business, finance or management, your skills will all get put to good use on this project.
