Have you ever dreamt of working directly with elephants and helping to safeguard the future of these magnificent animals? Well now, thanks to Globalteer, you have an amazing opportunity to volunteer at an elephant sanctuary in the breathtakingly beautiful Thailand.
The project where you'll be based is a leader of elephant conservation and advocacy in Thailand and South East Asia. As a rescue and education centre, the project provides a safe refuge to domesticated elephants who would otherwise be living in bad conditions at working elephant camps, or being exploited by the tourism industry.
As a volunteer, you'll help with the welfare of the elephants, as well as with the day-to-day running of the centre, by assisting in the care of the animals. This is a chance to get hands-on with these noble creatures and contribute to conservation in a responsible and sustainable way.
